NIA raids on 25 locations in 8 states including Delhi-Maharashtra, ATS raid in West UP

NIA Raids: Other agencies including the National Investigation Agency (NIA) have again raided the premises of PFI. This raid is being told of the second round. The NIA had earlier arrested PFI member Shafiq Paith from Kerala, who revealed during interrogation that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Patna rally this year was targeted by the Popular Front of India.

In fact, on the basis of the leads that the NIA got in the earlier raids, this time it is raiding 25 locations in 8 states today. Other agencies including NIA are carrying out this raid in collaboration with the police of 8 states. According to sources, many PFI members have also been detained by the agencies.

ATS team is also raiding West UP regarding PFI. ATS team has taken many people in custody from Meerut-Bulandshahr and interrogation is going on. Apart from this, a suspect has also been detained from Sitapur.

Raid was done at more than 100 places

The Karnataka Police arrested the SDPI secretary, including the district’s PFI president, this morning as part of the action. Along with this, PFI district president Abdul Karim and SDBI secretary Sheikh Masqsood have also been arrested. Let us tell you, PFI remains on the radar of other agencies including NIA. In the past, more than 100 locations of PFI were raided.

5 FIRs under UAPA

The ED and the state police, along with the NIA team, raided on September 22 and arrested 106 people of PFI. Along with this, NIA also registered 5 FIRs under UAPA. At the same time, after this action of NIA, the sword of ban on PFI seems to be hanging.
