Nikhil Gupta filed a petition in the Supreme Court against extradition, there were allegations of conspiracy to murder Pannu in the US.

New Delhi: Indian citizen Nikhil Gupta, arrested in connection with the alleged conspiracy to murder Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, has filed a petition in the Supreme Court through his family. Nikhil Gupta has approached the Supreme Court against his arrest and the ongoing extradition proceedings in the Czech Republic. Nikhil’s petition was also heard in the Supreme Court today. During the hearing of the case, the court said that this is a sensitive matter for the Ministry of External Affairs. It is for them to decide.

Next hearing will be on January 4

During the hearing of the case, the judge said that we received the file late at night. We have not gone into details. The next hearing of the case will be on January 4. Through the petition, Nikhil has appealed to the Supreme Court to give appropriate orders to the Government of India in this matter.

Nikhil is currently lodged in the jail of Czech Republic.

America’s Federal Investigation Agency (FBI) is investigating this matter.
