Not only Nasrallah, but his daughter was also killed by Israel; Who can get the command of Hezbollah?

Hezbollah Chief Nasrallah has been killed in an Israeli attack in Lebanon’s capital Beirut. The Israeli Army made this claim on Saturday. On Friday night, Israel carried out air strikes on several buildings in Beirut, in which Nasrallah was targeted. Not only Nasrallah, but also his daughter Zainab Nasrallah is claimed to have been killed in this attack. Although Israel has claimed the killing of Nasrallah, it has not yet reacted to the death of the daughter. Israeli military spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Nadav Shoshani announced on ‘X’, “Hassan Nasrallah is dead.” Another military spokesman, Captain David Avram, also confirmed that the Hezbollah chief had been eliminated following Friday’s attacks on the Lebanese capital. A source close to the Iran-backed group told AFP on condition of anonymity that contact with Nasrallah had been lost since Friday evening. After the death of Nasrallah, the biggest question now is who will be given the command of Hezbollah.

Who can be Hezbollah chief after Nasrallah?

Apart from Nasrallah, many other prominent Hezbollah commanders were killed in this attack. The Israeli military reported that the strikes also killed Ali Karakay, identified as the commander of Hezbollah’s southern front, and a number of other Hezbollah commanders. Now after the killing of Nasrallah along with many of his close associates, speculations have started about the next Chief. Currently Hashem Saffiedine is being considered as Nasrallah’s successor. He oversees Hezbollah’s political affairs and is also Nasrallah’s cousin. America had declared Safidin a terrorist in 2017. He can be the next head of Hezbollah, because the command has to be given to someone who can not only run Hezbollah but is also acceptable to Iran.

Safieddin also has good relations with Iran

Saffieddin also has good relations with Iran. Actually, his son Rida is married to Zainab Soleimani, who is the daughter of Soleimani, the former commander of Iran’s Quds Force. Born in 1964, Saffieddin is also known for his good relations with Iran’s clerics. Additionally, he has played a key role in Hezbollah’s political and financial operations and has long been considered Nasrallah’s successor. Nasrallah had also been grooming Saffieddin for leadership for a long time through various positions within the organization. For this reason, now that Nasrallah is claimed to be dead, Saffieddin is being considered his successor.
