New Delhi. On the occasion of the second anniversary of the farmers’ movement, the United Kisan Morcha has announced a march to the Raj Bhavan by the farmers on 26 November. In this, farmers in all the capitals of the country will unite and march till the Raj Bhavan. In this regard, the next meeting of the United Kisan Morcha will be held in Delhi on November 14, 2022.

Significantly, after the introduction of the Kisan Bill, the farmers had made a big movement against the government. This has been a historic movement so far in view of the unity of the farmers, after which the central government withdrew three agricultural laws. Due to this, online meeting of Joint Front’s Coordination Committee and Drafting Committee was held. In this meeting, on the occasion of the second anniversary of the movement of United Kisan Morcha, it was decided to march the farmers to Raj Bhavan in all the state capitals. Farmer leaders informed that preparations for the Raj Bhavan march are going on in various states and preparation meetings of farmer organizations are being held in all the states.

The next program of the Kisan Morcha will be decided in the meeting on November 15
To finalize the preparations for the Raj Bhavan march, a meeting of all the organizations associated with the United Kisan Morcha will be organized in Delhi on November 14, in which the issues of the memorandum to be given to the Governor will also be finalized. The working guidelines of the United Kisan Morcha will also be finalized by the farmers’ organizations in the November 14 meeting, on which discussion is going on between the members of the Coordination Committee and the Drafting Committee. This draft will be finalized in the meeting of the General Body.

Condemnation of the amendments of the Central Government in the Forest Conservation Act

In the meeting, the amendments being made by the Central Government in the Forest Conservation Act were condemned. It was also decided to show solidarity with the struggle being carried out by tribal organizations across the country against it, on 15 November, the birth anniversary of martyr Birsa Munda. During the meeting, a heartfelt tribute was paid to the farmer leader Paramjit Singh, remembering his special contribution to the farmers’ movement that lasted continuously for 380 days. Hannan Molla, Dr. Darshan Pal, Yudhveer Singh, Medha Patkar, Rajaram Singh, Atul Anjan, Satyavan, Dr. Ashok Dhawale, Avik Saha, Sukhdev Singh, Raminder Singh, Vikas Shishir and Dr. Sunilam attended the meeting.
