Opinion: PM Narendra Modi carrying out the mantra of Make in India Make for Global

Prime minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of the C-295 transport aircraft manufacturing plant – the country’s first in the private sector – in Vadodara, Gujarat. Under this, the C-295 aircraft will be manufactured for the Indian Air Force (IAF) through a collaboration between Tata Advanced Systems Limited and Airbus Defense & Space SA, Spain at this plant. This is the first project of its kind in which a military aircraft will be manufactured in India by a private company. The total cost of this project is Rs 21,935 crore. This aircraft can also be used for civilian purposes.
Actually, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is making constant efforts to make India a manufacturing now and this is an important step in this episode. Although today tanks are being made in India, submarines are also being made. By the way, medicines made in India, vaccines, electronic gadgets, mobile phones, cars are very popular in the world. In a sense, the mantra of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Make in India Make for the Globe can also be considered to be carried forward.

Great potential of aviation sector in India
Aviation sector is growing rapidly in India. India is the third top country in the world in terms of air traffic. The UDAN scheme has given a new height to the aviation sector in India and due to this, in the coming 15 years, there will be a need for more than 2,000 civilian aircraft in India and the beginning of this construction work is very important in this episode.

Steps taken by the government in 8 years
In the last 8 years, the government adopted many reforms to promote manufacturing. The reforms that the government has done in the last 8 years and created a better manufacturing environment in India. Creating a simpler corporate tax structure making it globally competitive, opening the way for 100% FDI, opening up defense and space sectors to private companies, reforming 29 central labor laws into 4 codes, eliminating 33,000 compliances, And by eliminating the complex web of dozens of taxes, revolutionary steps like the creation of Goods and Services Tax were taken, due to which a new saga of economic reforms is being written in India today. Our manufacturing sector has also got a big benefit from these reforms.

As a result, in the last eight years, companies from more than 160 countries have invested in India. Foreign investments are not limited to a few industries, but are spread over 61 sectors of the economy and cover 31 states of India. More than US$ 3 billion has been invested in the aerospace sector alone. After 2014, the investment in this sector increased by 5 times the investment made during the year 2000 to 2014. Defense and aerospace sectors are going to be the important pillars of self-reliant India campaign and under this, its defense manufacturing will be US $ 25 billion by 2025. The target has been set to exceed US$ 5 billion as well as defense exports.
BJP’s youth leader Manoj Yadav believes that PM Narendra Modi wants to put India on the top of the world map before 2047 and for this he is constantly trying. Manoj Yadava says that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is identifying every possibility of developing India and taking it forward.
