Pakistan frightened by India’s military power, again raises Kashmir issue in UN; Neighbor’s old tricks exposed again

The panic of the neighboring country Pakistan has once again come to the fore. From the platform of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif once again raised the Kashmir issue and made baseless allegations against India. In his address on Friday, Sharif accused India of illegal activities in Kashmir and said that if India wants peace, it will have to withdraw Article 370.

Pakistan again raised the issue of Kashmir on the UN platform and said that India will have to withdraw its unilateral and illegal steps taken on August 5, 2019. Not only this, Shahbaz Sharif also accused India of planning military expansion and attack on Pakistani border.

Pakistan once again sings the song of Kashmir

Shahbaz Sharif said in his speech, “India will have to resolve the Jammu and Kashmir issue for peace as per the UN Security Council resolutions and the wishes of the Kashmiri people.” Sharif also alleged that India was planning aggressive strategies against Pakistan by expanding its military resources. Shehbaz Sharif said, “Pakistan will give a decisive response to any such Indian aggression.”

Referring to India’s military strategies, Pakistan Prime Minister claimed that India’s war policy includes planning for cross-border attack and limited war against Pakistan. He also said that India has taken unilateral and illegal steps in Jammu and Kashmir since August 5, 2019, which are against the UN resolutions. According to Sharif, these steps are part of India’s intention to impose a final solution on Kashmir.

What is India’s stance regarding relations with Pakistan?

It is noteworthy that India has already made it clear that it wants normal relations with Pakistan, but for this Pakistan will have to create an environment free from terrorism and hostility. India has many times raised the issue of Pakistan’s support to terrorism in international forums and has made it clear that terrorism and talks cannot go together. After the Pulwama attack, India had given a clear message to Pakistan that strict action against terrorism is necessary to improve bilateral relations.
