Pakistani youth found guilty of murdering Indian, had run over car in Britain after taking contract

A Pakistani man has been found guilty of murdering an Indian in Britain. The Indian man’s name was Vignesh Pattabhiraman and he was a native of Tamil Nadu. Vignesh worked as a restaurant manager in London. He was murdered on Valentine’s Day. The jury of Reading Crown Court has found 25-year-old Shajeeb Khalid guilty of murdering Vignesh. According to this, Khalid had taken 2000 pounds for this work and ran his car over Vignesh. Vignesh died on the morning of 15 February at the Royal Berkshire Hospital. The post-mortem report stated the cause of death as a head injury.

Vignesh Pattabhiraman was originally a resident of IOB Colony near Maduramalai in Coimbatore. In December 2022, he moved to London with his wife Ramya. Here he worked in a South Indian restaurant in Well. After leaving the job from here, Vignesh was going to work at Hyatt Regency London in Churchill. But then this accident happened to him.

According to the information, the contract to kill Vignesh was given by another Indian. This man named Mohammad Sakib Ismail is the operations manager at Vel’s restaurant. He asked his friend Sohit Hussain to find someone who could scare Vignesh. Ismail felt that Vignesh was illegally giving jobs to people in his restaurant. Sohim gave the task of scaring Vignesh to Khalid, who ran his car over Vignesh. According to an eyewitness, after the accident, he saw a man coming out of the car and attacking with something three times.

The prosecution says that Khalid also stole Vignesh’s money. Khalid says that he drove the car only to scare him. But he lost control and the car ran over Vignesh. He said that his intention was not to kill Vignesh. Apart from this, he has also denied the charge of stealing money. Khalid came from Pakistan in 2007. In this case, Hussain, who hired Khalid, has been sentenced for helping in the crime. Both of them will be sentenced on October 10.
