Paris Olympics 2024 has recently concluded. The ‘Mahakumbh of Sports’ Olympics was held in Paris, the capital of France, from 26 July to 11 August. India’s performance in Paris Olympics was not as per expectations. India was expecting more than 10 medals but got only 3 (one silver, five bronze). India had sent a team of 117 athletes to Paris. India got the maximum of three medals in shooting. Star shooter Manu Bhaker created history by winning two medals. She is the first Indian player to win two medals in one Olympics. Javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra won silver. 21-year-old Aman Sehrawat won bronze in wrestling. He became India’s youngest Olympic medalist. Indian hockey team also won bronze.
