Surat court has sentenced Rahul Gandhi to two years in jail. He got bail immediately but a political problem has arisen for the Congress. President Mallikarjun Kharge has called an important meeting of party officials at 5 pm today. The meeting to be held at the party headquarters will be attended by members of the steering committee, presidents of state Congress committees, party leaders in state assemblies and big faces of the organisation.
What notices were given by the MPs today?
Congress MP Pramod Tiwari has given notice of discussion under Rule 267 in Rajya Sabha. He wants a discussion on ‘Government’s failure to form a Joint Parliamentary Committee on the Adani Group matter’.
