Pilibhit: Politics over deaths due to mysterious fever in Naugawan, former IPS Amitabh Thakur said this

Pilibhit. In Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh, the series of mysterious deaths in Naugawan Pakia area with a population of 40 thousand is not taking its name to stop. In the last 1 month, news of about a dozen deaths has come to the fore in this area. The villagers allege that the health department is hiding the dengue figures. At the same time, the health department seems to be running away from the contaminated water as the cause of the disease. Meanwhile, former IPS Amitabh Thakur, who reached Naugawan Pakdiya, has fiercely targeted the government and local officials.

Commenting on the whole matter, former IPS Amitabh Thakur has blamed the local administration for a dozen deaths. With this, while targeting the DM, he said that the government should intervene and investigate the whole matter. Departmental action should also be taken against DM.

The chain of deaths is not stopping
The first death due to fever in Naugawan Pakdia was about a month ago. Even after this, the health department did not become serious and the situation remained the same. Whereas a week ago, when the series of deaths due to mysterious fever intensified, then somewhere the health department and administration woke up. The health department started distributing sampling medicines by camping in the area.

Villagers’ allegation is not getting report
The local residents of Naugawan Pakdiya told during the conversation that samples are being taken by the Health Department for investigation by camping. However, his report is not being handed over to anyone. In such a situation, now a situation of fear is being created among the people.

We are living in the shadow of fear
Ramvati, a resident of Naugawan Pakdiya said that the filth has taken a formidable form in the entire area. Due to which dengue is spreading. After the continuous deaths, now all of us are afraid that nothing untoward should happen to us.

CMO is claiming sampling
Pilibhit CMO Dr. Alok Kumar said that the team of health department is doing door-to-door sampling and distribution of medicines in the area. Talking about the report, the results of the investigation are being told to the people during the sampling itself.
