Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the SCO summit to be held in Uzbekistan next week. Giving information about PM Modi’s visit, the Ministry of External Affairs said that apart from participating in the conference, Prime Minister Modi will also hold some bilateral meetings. In such a situation, all eyes are now on the possible meeting of Indian Prime Minister Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Let us tell you that if there is a mutual meeting and bilateral talks between the two leaders, then this will be the first time after the LAC dispute that both the leaders will face to face and talk. Possible talks between Modi and Xi Jinping will also help in reducing the tension in India-China relations.
These will also be included in the SCO conference
Apart from Narendra Modi, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping, Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, besides heads of other member countries will also participate in this conference. On the invitation of Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, PM Modi will participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization meeting to be held in Samarkand. SCO conference will be held on 15-16 September.

Announcing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s participation in the SCO summit, the Ministry of External Affairs said that along with reviewing the work of SCO in the last two decades, multilateral cooperation in future will also be discussed during the conference. Issues of regional and international importance will also be discussed in the meeting.
