Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the countrymen on ‘X’ and wrote in the post, “Infinite best wishes to all of you on Janmashtami. Jai Shri Krishna.” Let us tell you that Janmashtami is celebrated as the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna. Apart from this, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh also wished all the devotees on Janmashtami.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath wrote on his social media account, “Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki! Hearty congratulations and best wishes to all the devotees and people of the state on the auspicious birth anniversary of Kripasindhu, Shri Banke Bihari Ji, ‘Shri Krishna Janmashtami’!”

Mathura has received a special gift
It is worth noting that CM Yogi had attended the Krishna Janmotsav in Mathura, the birthplace of Shri Krishna, the previous day. He gave a special gift to Mathura during this Janmotsav. He announced from the stage that a ropeway facility will be started to go to Radha Rani temple in Barsana. He also inaugurated 178 different development projects worth ₹ 1,037 crores.
