After canceling the ticket of Minister of State for External Affairs Meenakshi Lekhi, Bansuri Swaraj, daughter of former Union Minister late Sushma Swaraj, has been made the candidate in her place, while in place of Minister of State in the Ministry of Minority Affairs John Barla, the party has given ticket to Alipurduar MLA Manoj Tigga.
