Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday attended the Ganpati Puja at the residence of Chief Justice of India (CJI) DY Chandrachud. In the video, CJI Chandrachud and his wife Kalpana Das can be seen welcoming PM Modi at their home. After this, PM Modi was also seen worshipping Lord Ganesha at the residence. The Prime Minister was wearing a traditional Maharashtrian hat at the ceremony at the CJI’s residence.
According to the video, CJI Chandrachud and his wife welcomed PM Modi when he arrived at the house. After this, Prime Minister Modi offered prayers to Lord Ganesha with an aarti thali. During this, some other people were also seen doing puja nearby. CJI Chandrachud stood with folded hands in front of the Lord during the puja.

It starts with Ganesh Chaturthi which falls on the Chaturthi of Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapada month. After this, this festival continues for ten days. Ganesh Utsav is celebrated with great pomp in Maharashtra and especially in Mumbai. Tall pandals of Lord Ganesha are seen everywhere. Many famous personalities also participate in the pandals of Ganesh Utsav.
