New Delhi: In the 113th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’, Prime Minister Narendra Modi mentioned the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan and politics. PM Modi said, “This year, from the Red Fort, I have called upon one lakh youth without political background to join the political system. There has been a tremendous response to my speech. This shows that a large number of our youth are ready to join politics. They are just looking for the right opportunity and guidance.”

Referring to politics, PM Modi said, “I have also received letters from youth across the country on this subject of politics. We are getting tremendous responses on social media as well. People have also sent me many kinds of suggestions. Some youth have written in the letter that this is really unimaginable for them. Due to no political legacy of grandfather or parents, they were not able to enter politics even if they wanted to. Some youth wrote that they have good experience of working at the grassroots level, therefore, they can be helpful in solving the problems of the people.”

Prime Minister Modi expressed his gratitude to the youth for sending letters and said, “I thank everyone for sending suggestions on this subject. I hope that now with our collective efforts, such youth who have no political background will also be able to come forward in politics, their experience and enthusiasm will be useful for the country.”

PM Modi said, “During the freedom struggle, many people from every sector of society came forward who had no political background. They devoted themselves for the freedom of India. Today we need the same spirit once again to achieve the goal of developed India. I would like to tell all my young friends to definitely join this campaign. This step of yours will change the future of yourself and the country.”

Prime Minister Modi praised the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan. He said, “This time the campaign was at its peak – every home is Tiranga and the whole country is Tiranga. Amazing pictures related to this campaign have emerged from every corner of the country. We saw the tricolor fluttering on homes, saw the tricolor in schools, colleges, universities. People hoisted the tricolor in their shops and offices. When people come together and express their feelings, every campaign becomes more successful in this way.”
