PM Modi dedicated to the nation the urea plant at Ramagundam in Peddapalli district of Telangana.
The Prime Minister also flagged off the new railway line between Bhadrachalam Road and Sattupalli.
PM Modi said that these projects are going to give strength to both agriculture and industry here.
Hyderabad. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who embarked on a tour of South India, today gifted Rs 10,000 crore to Telangana and described it as giving new heights to the development of agriculture and industry in Telangana. PM Modi dedicated to the nation the urea plant of Ramagundam Fertilizers and Chemical Limited (RFCL) at Ramagundam in Peddapalli district of Telangana here. Along with this, the Prime Minister also dedicated to the nation the new railway line between Bhadrachalam Road and Sattupalli. This rail line has been built at a cost of about 1000 crores.
During this, PM Modi while addressing a public meeting said, ‘Today the foundation stone of development projects worth more than Rs 10,000 crore has been laid and inaugurated for Telangana. These projects are going to give impetus to both agriculture and industry here.
PM Modi said, ‘Many experts are saying that after 1990, as much development as happened in 30 years is going to happen in just a few years now. Today the world has such unprecedented faith in India, the reason for this is the change in India in the last 8 years. Aspirational to develop today, a confident new India is in front of the world.

PM Modi said, ‘Be it a fertilizer plant, a new railway line or a highway, these will give a boost to industrialization and create new employment opportunities. I congratulate the people of Telangana for these developmental projects.
During this, the Prime Minister said that even though the world is going through an economic slowdown after the pandemic, all experts say that India is moving towards becoming the third largest economy in the world. Development is a mission for us 24 hours, 7 days, 12 months, all over the country. When we launch one project, we start working on many new projects.
Earlier, Union Minister of State for Chemicals and Fertilizers Bhagwant Khuba had told that five urea production plants that were closed due to various reasons have been opened in Ramagundam, 225 km from Hyderabad, after Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister in the year 2014. Khuba said that the RFCL plant has a total annual production capacity of 12.7 lakh tonnes of urea.
