PM Modi, Uttarakhand CM, Congress President Kharge among others wish them on the foundation day of Uttarakhand – Fast Hindi News

New Delhi: On 9 November 2000, Uttarakhand became the 27th state of India. After a long agitation, the hill state was carved out of Uttar Pradesh by the BJP government on November 9, 2000.

Congratulating Uttarakhand on its foundation day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said that the people of the hill state are making tremendous contribution in nation building in many areas.

He also expressed hope that the development of Uttarakhand would continue in the coming years.

Prime Minister Modi tweeted, ‘Happy Foundation Day to the people of Uttarakhand. It is a state closely associated with nature and spirituality. The people of this state are making unprecedented contribution in many fields in nation building. May Uttarakhand progress in the years to come.”

On the occasion of the state’s foundation day, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami paid tribute to the martyrs of the state at the Martyrs Memorial in the court.

Dhami said, “It has been 22 years since the formation of the state of Uttarakhand, and I pay homage to the martyrs and revolutionaries of the state, and we are determined to build Uttarakhand according to their vision.”

Meanwhile, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Wednesday while congratulating Uttarakhand on its state formation day said that everyone here contributes to the development of the country.

The Congress President tweeted in Hindi, “Happy Foundation Day to the state rich in natural resources and beauty. I wish that every person of the state remains happy and contributes to the development of India.
