PM Modi will be on Gujarat tour for two days from today, will get a gift of 29,600 crores, Ahmedabad Metro will also start

New Delhi. Prime Minister Modi is on a visit to Gujarat for two days from today i.e. on 29th and 30th September. He will also inaugurate several big projects costing Rs 29,600 crore here and lay the foundation stone for other projects. These projects include the inauguration of the first phase of the Ahmedabad Metro Project and the flagging off of the Gandhinagar-Mumbai Central Vande Bharat Express.

According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), PM Modi will also inaugurate the 36th National Games on Thursday at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The PMO said that the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of projects worth Rs 29,600 crore in Surat, Bhavnagar, Ahmedabad and Ambaji in Gujarat.

According to the PMO, the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay foundation stones of various projects worth Rs 3,400 crore in Surat on 29 September. These mainly include development projects related to water supply, drainage, dream city, biodiversity park and public infrastructure.

Apart from this, PM Narendra Modi will also inaugurate the works of the first phase of the Prime Minister’s Road Project in Surat and the main entrance of Diamond Research and Mercantile (Dream) City.
