PM Narendra Modi met Navdeep of ‘Khao Maa Kasam’, jokingly asked- Is everyone scared?

Javelin thrower Navdeep Singh created history for India by winning the gold medal in the F41 category at the Paris Paralympics. On Thursday, Navdeep Singh and other athletes from India met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and also talked to him. During this, many players also got PM Modi’s signature on their medals. Navdeep also got his jersey signed by the PM. During this, PM Modi has shared the video of the conversation with Navdeep on his social media account, which will make you happy too.

In the video, Narendra Modi asked Navdeep about his video when he reacted after throwing more than 46 meters and during this he could not control his emotions. This video of his went viral on social media. The PM said, “Did you see your video, what are people saying? Everyone is scared. To this Navdeep said, “Sir, it was josh-josh mein ho gaya tha.”

Navdeep had thrown more than 46 meters during his event in Paris Paralympics and was seen celebrating in a very enthusiastic manner. After this throw, he went to his coach and then he asked him how many meters was the throw, on which the coach said 46.32 meters. Navdeep did not believe this and he asked the coach to swear on his mother. This video of him also went viral on social media.

Navdeep Singh has become quite famous on social media due to his enthusiasm and passion. Navdeep Singh won the silver medal after the javelin throw event ended in Paris, but Iran’s Sadegh Bet Sayah was disqualified for repeatedly displaying an offensive flag, due to which Navdeep got the gold medal.

Navdeep, competing in the category for short athletes, had finished his campaign with a silver medal after beating world record holder Sun Pengxiang of China with a throw of 47.32m. It was upgraded to an unprecedented gold after Iran’s Sadegh Bet Sayah was disqualified for repeatedly displaying an offensive flag. Pengxiang (44.72m) took the silver. Sayah was on top with a new Paralympic record of 47.64m in his fifth throw but lost the medal due to his actions.

International Paralympic Committee rules prohibit athletes from making any political gestures at the event and Sayah was excluded from the final results for unsporting/improper conduct.
