PM Modi Gujarat Visit: Before the Gujarat Assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to make an important visit on Sunday (30 October). He will reach Gujarat as part of his three-day tour. On Sunday itself, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of the country’s first Transport Aircraft Plant in Vadodara.

The manufacturing of C-295 Military Transport Aircraft will start in this plant. It will be a medium-lift military transport aircraft. Spain’s Airbus Defense Company and Tata Consortium are starting this plant together.

Important step towards self-reliant India

This plant, which is going to be started in India, will be special in itself because this is the first time that the C-295 aircraft will be made outside Europe. At the same time, for the first time in the country, a private company is going to make this transport aircraft. This is being considered a strong step towards making India self-reliant.
