New Delhi. Before the budget session of the Parliament, an all-party meeting was called by the government to run the session smoothly. This meeting took place in the Parliamentary Library of Parliament. After the meeting, on behalf of the Central Government, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi said that floor leaders of 27 political parties had come in the meeting. Joshi said that many issues have been raised in the meeting by the opposition parties. We are ready to discuss every issue raised by the opposition parties in the House as per the rules. No leader from Samajwadi Party and Congress participated in the all-party meeting.

On this, Prahlad Joshi said that it was told from the Congress party that the prominent leaders are in Kashmir due to the completion of Bharat Jodo Yatra and due to bad weather, they are stuck in Kashmir, so they will not be able to attend today’s meeting. He will come to Parliament on Tuesday and meet them separately. It was told on behalf of Prahlad Joshi that the opposition also demanded a short duration debate. The government is ready for discussion. We expect better coordination from the opposition. Harsimrat Kaur Badal of former NDA ally Akali Dal raised the issue of Ram Rahim’s parole in the all-party meeting.
