Preparations for President’s rule in Bengal? Governor CV Anand Bose arrives to meet Draupadi Murmu and Home Minister Shah

The Governor has reached Delhi on Tuesday to meet Home Minister Amit Shah and President Draupadi Murmu. He also met Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar. In such a situation, speculations of President’s rule in West Bengal have also intensified.

What did the governor say on President’s rule

Now, all eyes will be on what report Governor CV Anand Bose gives. He has said that three reports were sought from the state government regarding the matter. However, only one report has been received so far. He said that this matter is a stigma for the entire society and people have come out on the streets. The society is scared and the government is unable to handle it. BJP is demanding President’s rule in West Bengal. When the Governor was questioned about this, he said that a demand is a demand. Whatever decision will be taken will be taken after careful consideration and in the interest of the state.

A three-member bench of the Supreme Court is also going to hear the barbaric incident today. The Supreme Court has taken suo motu cognizance of the incident. Three letter petitions were filed in the Supreme Court stating that the CJI should take suo motu cognizance of the matter and give necessary orders. Let us tell you that the CBI is also tightening its grip on the former principal of the medical college, Sandeep Ghosh. A corruption case has been registered against him. The CBI interrogated Sandeep Ghosh for three days. It is also alleged that after the incident, he had a meeting with the employees and planned to cover it up somehow.

what has happened in this case so far

A female doctor was raped and murdered in the seminar hall of the Government RG Kar Medical College in Kolkata. The accused in this case, Sanjay Roy, who was a traffic police volunteer, was arrested. The accused’s psychological test was also conducted for two days. When the police could not handle the case, the case was handed over to the CBI and the officers investigating the Hathras case were given the responsibility.

CBI has questioned more than 20 people so far. Former principal of the hospital Sandeep Ghosh was questioned for 36 hours. He resigned from his post immediately after the incident. Prohibitory orders have been imposed in RG Hospital. There is outrage over the matter across the country and doctors are protesting. OPDs are closed at many places. Indian Medical Association (IMA) has placed five demands before the government which include ensuring safety of doctors.
