New Delhi: President Draupadi Murmu will visit Jharkhand on Tuesday to pay tribute to revered tribal leader Birsa Munda, Rashtrapati Bhavan said in a statement.
A statement issued on Monday said that she will visit Ulihatu village, the birth place of Birsa Munda.
On the same day, she will address a ‘Tribal Samagam’ in Shahdol, Madhya Pradesh organized by the state government on the occasion of ‘Tribal Pride Day’.
In the evening, the President will also attend a civic reception to be organized in his honor at Raj Bhavan, Bhopal and lay the foundation stone for projects of the Ministries of Defense and Road Transport and Highways.
On November 16, 2022, the President will address a women’s self-help group conference in Bhopal before returning to Delhi.
