Bharat Jodo Yatra: Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday (November 8) offered prayers at a gurudwara in Nanded district before starting his ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’. After entering Maharashtra from Telangana on Monday (November 7) night, the Congress MP on Tuesday morning paid obeisance at Gurdwara Yadwari Baba Zorawar Singh Fateh Singh Ji on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti.

The Congress party said in a tweet, Gandhi prayed for harmony and equality in the gurudwara. The padyatra will start on Tuesday (November 8) morning from the Atkali Gurdwara located in Biloli of Nanded district. Rahul Gandhi plans to stay overnight at Godavari Mantar Sugar Mills Ground in Biloli.

According to the schedule shared by the Congress, Rahul Gandhi will address two rallies during his visit to Maharashtra. The first rally will be held in Nanded district on November 10 and the second rally in Shegaon in Buldhana district on November 18.

Will enter Madhya Pradesh after Maharashtra
In Maharashtra, the Yatra will pass through 15 assembly and six parliamentary constituencies. During this, a distance of 382 km will be covered and it will enter Madhya Pradesh on the coming Sunday (20 November). According to the itinerary, there will be a foot march in Nanded district for four days. The Yatra will pass through Hingoli district on November 11, Washim on November 15, Akola on November 16 and Buldhana on November 18.
