Rahul Gandhi had sent a message to his mother and sister while going to Kashmir, Priyanka Gandhi revealed

Srinagar. Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi had sent a message to his mother Sonia Gandhi and sister Priyanka Gandhi while coming to Jammu and Kashmir under the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’, saying, I feel strange that I am going to my home. Priyanka Gandhi herself told this incident in the public meeting of Congress. At a rally related to the closing ceremony of ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’, he said, ‘My brother (Rahul) walked from Kanyakumari to Kashmir for five months. Initially I thought how will it go, what will happen. But wherever he went, people came out to welcome him because there is a spirit in this country. There is passion for the country’s constitution, for the land of the country.

Priyanka Gandhi said, ‘When my brother was coming towards Kashmir, he sent a message to me and my mother that I have a strange feeling that I am going to my home. He said that I feel that when my family members come and hug me, there are tears in their eyes, then their pain and emotions are getting absorbed in my chest. It is noteworthy that the Nehru-Gandhi family is originally from Jammu and Kashmir.

The politics that is happening today cannot help the country
Priyanka Gandhi said, ‘Standing here, I feel proud that the Congress took out such a journey, which was supported by the whole country. The politics that is happening today cannot do good to the country. The politics that divides the country, breaks it, harms the country. He exhorted the people, ‘In a way this journey has been spiritual… It is the duty of all of us to preserve the truth, non-violence and unity on which this country was built.’
