Rahul Gandhi: I have seen fear in the eyes, Prime Minister Modi was nervous about my next speech on Adani in Parliament… Attack of Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi: After being stripped of the Lok Sabha membership, Rahul Gandhi came in front of the media today as a former MP and lashed out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Referring to the Adani-Modi relationship, he surrounded the government. It also said, ‘I was disqualified because the Prime Minister is afraid of my speech. He was dreading my next speech, which was going to be on Adani. I saw it in his eyes, he was nervous about my next speech. He did not want my next speech in Parliament. He said that I have said many times that democracy is under attack in India. We get new examples everyday. I had asked only one question that Adani ji has shell companies, someone invested Rs 20,000 crore in them. Adani ji has no money. It is their infrastructure business, the money belongs to someone else. The question is, to whom does this 20 thousand crore rupees belong? There is a Chinese involved in this, why is no one asking questions? I spoke about the relationship between Adani ji and Modi ji by giving proof in the Parliament, which I had extracted from media reports. After this, Rahul hit back at the BJP over the controversy over his statement in London. He said that the ministers lied that I sought help from foreign forces, this is absolutely wrong and a lie. He said that this whole drama has been created to save PM Modi. He said that these people have not understood yet, I will not be afraid of going to jail.

Rahul Gandhi hits back at BJP.

the ministers lied about me
Rahul said that the relationship between Modi ji and Adani ji is not new, it is old. There is a relationship since when Narendra Modi ji became the CM of Gujarat. I showed the photo of the aeroplane. Narendra Modi ji was sitting very comfortably with his friend. I showed the photo in the Parliament. Rahul said that then my speech was thrown out. I wrote a detail letter to the speaker. I said that the rules were changed and the airport was given to Adani ji but it did not make any difference. Ministers lied about me in Parliament. He said that I had sought help from foreign forces, whereas I did not say any such thing. I told the Speaker that Sir, it is a rule of Parliament that if any member is accused, then the member has the right to reply. I wrote a letter and got no answer, wrote another letter and got no answer. Went to the speaker’s chamber and said that Sir is the law, why are you not allowing me to speak. Speaker sir smiled and said that I cannot. The former Congress MP said that what happened after that, you all saw. I will not stop asking questions.

Rahul said that what is the relation of Modi ji with Adani and to whom 20 thousand crore rupees belong, I will keep asking. I am not afraid of these people. And if they think that they can stop me by disqualifying me, threatening me, locking me in jail. No… I don’t have that history. I will keep fighting for the democracy of India. The former MP from Wayanad said that he is not afraid of anything, this is the truth.

I have love and family relation with the people of Wayanad. I will write letters to the people there to express what is in my heart for them.

Rahul bluntly on insulting OBC
On BJP’s allegation of insulting OBCs, Rahul said that I walked thousands of kilometers in Bharat Jodo Yatra, I talked about connecting everyone. BJP is trying to divert by raising the OBC issue.

A lot has changed for Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in 48 hours. He is now a former MP. In the ‘Modi surname’ defamation case, he was sentenced to 2 years by the Surat court and lost his Lok Sabha membership. He had tweeted that I am fighting for the voice of India. I am ready to pay any cost. Today he held the first press conference after being stripped of his membership. Along with Rahul, Bhupesh Baghel and Ashok Gehlot were also present on the stage. This is being seen as a sign of BJP’s response to the allegation of insulting the OBCs.
