Rahul Gandhi trapped by abusing PM Modi, Delhi HC gives big instructions to Election Commission

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has to face difficulties from time to time for his statements. Recently, he is also being targeted by his opponents by making a video of mimicry of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar. At the same time, now Rahul Gandhi has got another blow from the Delhi High Court. The court has termed the abuses used by Rahul Gandhi against PM Modi as wrong and has issued major instructions to the Election Commission in the matter.

Use of words like panauti and pickpocket for PM

Actually, abusive words were used by Rahul Gandhi for PM Modi in the election rally on 22 November last month. Rahul had used words like panauti and pickpocket for PM Modi. Taking cognizance of this matter, the Election Commission had also issued a notice to Rahul and directed him to reply by November 25.

Election Commission should settle the matter in 8 weeks – High Court

Hearing the entire matter, the Delhi High Court has said that Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s speech against Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 22, in which he was called a ‘pickpocket’, was not good. Along with this, Delhi High Court has directed the Election Commission of India to take a decision on this matter within 8 weeks.
