Jaipur. In Rajasthan, Ashok Gehlot Government has started a new scheme to give subsidy to the electricity bills of the farmers. In the new budget by the Gehlot government, under the Kisan Mitra Yojana, it has been claimed to zero the electricity bill of the farmers. Rajasthan Government’s Energy Minister Bhanwar Singh Bhati claims that the Rajasthan government itself is farmer friendly. With this scheme, the electricity bill of about 80 percent farmers of the state will become zero. Due to this, the financial burden of more than 1 thousand crore rupees will come on the power companies.

From the announcement of new districts to the announcement of new districts, many big announcements have been made by the Rajasthan government in its recently presented budget. To say that electricity is the most expensive in Rajasthan, but in the budget, CM Ashok Gehlot has announced to give 100 units of free electricity every month to common electricity consumers. More than 10 lakh farmers will get benefit
The government says that the weather has already hit the farmers. Therefore, to give relief to them, the government will give 2 thousand units of free electricity every month to the farmers having agricultural connections. In Rajasthan, more than 13 lakh farmers have agricultural connections. Out of these, more than 10 lakh farmers will get the benefit of this scheme of the government. Regarding this scheme related to farmers, Energy Minister Bhanwar Singh Bhati has claimed that after implementing it in Rajasthan, the electricity bills of about 80 percent farmers of the state will come to zero.

General electricity consumers will be given 100 units free electricity
In the last budget, the Rajasthan government gave 50 units of free electricity every month to the common electricity consumers of Rajasthan. After that this time it has been reduced to 100 units. Similarly, earlier it was announced to give 1000 rupees every month as subsidy to more than 8 lakh farmers of Rajasthan. But this time it is election year, so the government has openly decided to give 2000 units of free electricity to the farmers.
