Jaipur. The month of April has brought a gift of happiness for the residents of Rajasthan. From April 1, people have started getting a lot of concessions in Rajasthan. The Chief Minister’s free electricity scheme is starting from today. Under this, two thousand units of free electricity will be given to the farmers every month. Due to this, the electricity bill of 80 percent farmers of the state is being claimed to be zero. At the same time, common electricity consumers will also get 100 units of free electricity from today.
CM Ashok Gehlot had announced these in his budget speech. With this, people will start getting relief in the electricity bill for the month of April. It is being claimed that about 1 crore 4 lakh common consumers of the state will get direct benefit from this scheme. Along with the farmers, about 80 percent of the common electricity consumers are being claimed to have zero electricity bills. Earlier in Rajasthan, 50 units of electricity were being given free to the general consumers.
Leprosy disabled will be able to travel free on roadways
On the other hand, according to the announcement of CM Ashok Gehlot from today, women will start getting fifty percent discount in roadways fare. From today, the fare for women in Rajasthan Roadways will be halved. Earlier women were getting 30 per cent discount in fare. CM Gehlot had increased this exemption to fifty percent in the budget speech. Along with this, another free category has been included in Rajasthan Roadways. Now the handicapped disabled by leprosy will be able to travel free of cost in the roadways. Leprosy disabled people will get this facility in all categories of roadways.

Roadways sleeper bus started between Jaipur and Delhi
Apart from these two big schemes, roadways is also starting sleeper bus service between Jaipur and Delhi from today. Till now only private bus operators used to operate slipper buses from Jaipur. Roadways has started this bus from 12.30 pm on March 31. Due to this, the connectivity of Jaipur-Delhi has become better. Along with this, the purchase of gram and mustard at the minimum support price has started in Rajasthan from today. The purchase of gram and mustard is being started at 634 centers by the Cooperative Department. For this, more than 94000 farmers have got online registration done across the state.
