Local farmers will also be allowed to do agricultural work only after getting approval from the Border Security Force officials.
According to the order, along with this, there will be a ban on playing firecrackers and bands in the restricted area from 7 pm to 6 am. This restrictive order issued by Sriganganagar District Collector Swamy will remain effective till May 30, 2023. Sriganganagar District Collector and District Magistrate Saurabh Swamy, exercising the powers conferred under Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, issued a restrictive order regarding the use and network of mobile towers in Pakistani territory near the Pakistan border adjoining Sriganganagar district. have done.

According to the order, the network of mobile towers installed in Pakistani territory is coming up to 3-4 kilometers inside the Indian border. Nor will any person be allowed to use it. On violation of these orders, action will be taken against the guilty person as per the provisions of the law. This order will be effective from 31 March 2023 to 30 May 2023.
Such restrictions have been imposed in the border area earlier also.
It is worth mentioning that from the point of view of strategic security, restrictions have been imposed in the border area earlier also on the basis of intelligence inputs received from time to time. Such restrictions are imposed not only in Sriganganagar district but also in Barmer and Jaisalmer districts situated on the border. In Barmer, CID Intelligence has recently arrested two local people on charges of espionage. Both the arrested people are accused of spying for the Pakistani intelligence agency ISI.
