Rajasthan: Mother killed son and daughter by throwing them into the pool, was about to jump herself, got scared seeing water

Churu. In Sardarshahar police station area of ​​Churu district of Rajasthan, a mother killed her two children by pushing them into a pool of water. It is being told that the woman herself wanted to commit suicide but got scared after seeing the water. Police has handed over the dead bodies of the innocent children to their relatives after getting the post-mortem done by the medical board in the presence of their relatives. On the report of the children’s father, the police have registered a case of murder against their mother. After the incident, mourning spread in the area.

According to the police, this heart-wrenching incident took place on Friday night. At around 11 o’clock in the night, the police got information that two children had died due to drowning in the pool. Immediately on information, Sardarshahar DSP Narendra Kumar Sharma, Station Officer Satpal Vishnoi and ASI Himmat Singh along with policemen reached the spot and got the children out of the pool. But by then the children had died. The police kept the dead bodies in the local hospital. After that on Saturday the father of the children filed a case against his wife for killing the children. On this the police came to a standstill.

The children’s father filed a murder case against their mother
Kanaram Jat, a resident of Ramsisar Bhedwalia, the father of the deceased children, told in his report that he along with his family lives in Khundia village of Sardarshahar tehsil as a shack. On Friday he was grazing cattle in the field. At that time his wife Mamta and 3-year-old daughter Himani and 7-month-old son Mayank were in Dhani. On Friday late evening, Mamta stood on the pond near Dhani and started calling her loudly. When he came running, Mamta told him that she had put Himani and Mayank in the pool of water.

Kanaram told that when he peeped into the pond, the bodies of daughter Himani and son Mayank were floating in the water. He immediately called the neighbors. Later, after giving information to the relatives, called on the spot and informed the police about the matter. According to the police, however, the real reasons for the murder have not been revealed yet. But preliminary investigation has revealed that after pushing the children into the pool, Mamta herself was about to jump into it. But later on seeing the water filled in the pool, she got scared and retraced her steps. However, the police is engaged in the investigation of the whole matter. She is probing the matter from all angles.
