New Delhi: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot refuted the claims of “indiscipline”, claiming that he had not directed anyone to hold a parallel meeting. He said that in a conversation with Congress President Sonia Gandhi in August, he had urged the appointment of a new CM who could help the Rajasthan Congress win additional elections.
A meeting of 15-16 ministers of Rajasthan is being held at CM Ashok Gehlot’s house, while Sachin Pilot is preparing for a meeting with the party high command in New Delhi. The option of calling a separate meeting of 82 MLAs instead of attending the regular CLP meeting has been referred to as “indiscipline” by party observers.
A written report on incidents in Rajasthan is being prepared by two supervisors Mallikarjun Kharge and Ajay Maken, who plan to submit it by evening.
