Jaipur. Once again the weather in Rajasthan is in a mood to take a turn. According to the Meteorological Department, due to the effect of a new Western Disturbance, there is a possibility of light rain with moderate thunderstorm activities in Sriganganagar and Hanumangarh districts including Jodhpur division of western Rajasthan on March 13 afternoon. On the other hand, in Udaipur, Ajmer, Kota and Jaipur divisions of eastern Rajasthan during March 13-14, there are possibilities of sudden strong winds at one or two places along with thunderstorms in the afternoon at some places.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a strong possibility of another new Western Disturbance becoming active in Rajasthan on March 16 and 17. Due to its effect, there is a possibility of increase in thunderstorm activities in the state. At present, the maximum temperature in most parts of Rajasthan is being recorded 2 to 6 degree Celsius above the average. In the last 24 hours till 8 am on Sunday, the highest maximum temperature has been recorded in Barmer at 37.2 degrees (+2.7 degrees above average) and in Phalodi at 37.2 degrees (+3.9 degrees above average).
