Relief to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in electoral bond recovery case, Karnataka High Court bans investigation – Hindustan News Hub

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has got relief in the electoral bond recovery case. Karnataka High Court has stayed the investigation in the case against him. The case filed against him in the electoral bond recovery case has been stayed till October 22. Former Karnataka BJP president Nalin Kumar Kateel had challenged the lower court’s decision in the High Court. Admitting the petition for hearing, the Karnataka High Court has stayed further investigation in the FIR registered against former Karnataka state BJP president Nalin Kumar Kateel till October 22.

Nalin Kumar Kateel is a co-accused in the electoral bond recovery case. Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has been made the main accused in this case. He is accused of extorting money from some companies in the guise of electoral bonds.

Adarsh ​​R Iyer had complained

Janadhikar Sangharsh Parishad (JSP) co-chairman Adarsh ​​R Iyer had filed a complaint naming Nirmala Sitharaman and Nalin Kumar Kateel as accused, alleging that the accused extorted money under the guise of electoral bonds and collected Rs 8,000 crore. The complaint said Sitharaman extorted thousands of crores of rupees for the benefit of others at the state and national levels with the covert aid and support of ED officials. According to Adarsh ​​R Iyer, the work of extortion under the guise of electoral bonds was being carried out with the connivance of BJP officials at various levels.
