Rewa: 15 prisoners pardoned on Republic Day, eyes filled with tears after meeting family

Reva, Republic Day has brought the message of freedom for 15 prisoners serving life sentence in Central Jail Rewa. According to the orders of Madhya Pradesh Government Jail Department, 15 prisoners were released on January 26 on the occasion of Republic Day. This release is due to the good conduct of the prisoners. Apart from Rewa, these released prisoners belong to Sidhi, Singrauli, Anuppur, Umaria districts.

Most of the prisoners who were released by pardoning were serving sentences in jail for serious crimes like murder. His fate changed on the occasion of Republic Day. When this prisoner met his family after his release, tears of joy welled up in his eyes. The jail management has written a letter to the collector and CEO of the home district of these prisoners, asking them to make arrangements for their living. After being released from jail, all the 15 prisoners happily left for their homes.
