Jaipur. The movement of private doctors at the state level against the Right to Health RTH Bill is going on continuously. Due to the closure of private hospitals, the burden of patients on government hospitals has increased. Meanwhile, the Medical Minister has accused the agitating doctors of doing politics, while the private doctors have announced to continue the agitation. Resident doctors are also boycotting work in protest against the use of force on doctors. In such a situation, the pressure of patients has increased in government hospitals across the state. A huge crowd of patients is being seen in the biggest SMS hospital of the state.
Due to the work boycott of the residents, the senior doctors have taken care of the front, while the necessary operations are being given priority in the hospital. A later date is being given for the routine operation. Dr. Manoj Sharma, Additional Superintendent of SMS Hospital, told that the number of patients is less due to the strike. He told that necessary operations are being done. Later time is being given for surgeries which are not needed immediately. He told that senior doctors have been deployed.

Medical minister claims treatment in private hospitals
Regarding the movement of doctors, Medical Minister Parsadi Lal Meena claimed that treatment is being done in all the private hospitals associated with the Chiranjeevi scheme across the state. Patients are being treated in the hospitals where land has been given free of cost and at a concessional rate. He said that all the demands of the striking doctors had already been accepted.
Private medical colleges will also be included in the bandh.
On the other hand, the Private Hospital and Nursing Homes Society has announced to continue the movement. Society’s secretary Dr. Vijay Kapoor said that now private medical colleges will also participate in this bandh. After passing the Right to Health Bill, now the government is not ready to back down. Here private hospitals are also not ready to call off their strike. In such a situation, it is bound to increase the problems of the patients.
