Rising India, Real Heroes: ‘Veerji Ka Dera’ in Delhi, which provides free treatment to hundreds of people daily

In Delhi, two brothers Kamaljit Singh and Brigadier Premjit Singh Panesar run ‘Veerji Ka Dera’, an organization started by their father Trilochan Singh in 1989. The group provides free medical aid to migrant workers and daily wage earners. Volunteers and doctors take care of 350-400 people every day, examining and treating them on the street. The organization also runs a 65-bed hospital in Delhi and provides langar service.

According to Kamaljit, his father Trilochan Singh used to help the destitute and helpless people sitting near Sheeshganj Gurdwara in Delhi. Just from there this series started, which he has continued further.
