Palakkad: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has given an important statement on the caste census. The Sangh has termed it sensitive and said that it should not be used for election and political purposes. It should be taken very seriously for the unity and integrity of the country. Sunil Ambekar, the All India Prachar Pramukh of the Sangh, said this in a press conference.
The issue of caste census was also discussed in the National Coordination Conference of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in Palakkad, Kerala. Sunil Ambekar said, ‘I think, RSS thinks that for welfare activities, the society which is lagging behind needs special attendance, this is only for that society and caste, it should not be used for electoral politics.
