Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut has once again given a controversial statement. This time Raut has compared the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the Mughal emperor ‘Aurangzeb’. Sanjay Raut cited the fact that PM Modi was born in Gujarat behind this claim. Now on this issue, BJP has launched a big attack on Sanjay Raut and Shiv Sena Uddhav faction. Responding to Sanjay Raut’s statement, Bharatiya Janata Party has said that the people of the country will give a befitting reply to such attacks on the Prime Minister.
Sanjay Raut gave this controversial statement during a rally in Buldhana in Vidarbha region of Maharashtra on Wednesday. Raut has said that Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the founder of the Maratha Empire, was born in Maharashtra while Aurangzeb was born in present-day Gujarat. Raut further said that there is a place called Dahod in Gujarat where Modi was born. Aurangzeb was also born there. Raut further said that this is the reason that this Aurangzebi trend is moving from Gujarat and Delhi towards Maharashtra. This is growing against Shiv Sena and our self-respect.
BJP got angry
In the matter of comparing PM Modi with Aurangzeb, BJP has made a big attack on both Sanjay Raut and Shiv Sena Uddhav faction. On the entire issue, BJP spokesperson and Rajya Sabha MP Sudhanshu Trivedi said that Uddhav’s Shiv Sena stood with those who glorified Aurangzeb. The public will respond to all such statements appropriately.
