The news of the hiding of the terrorists was received.
In the month of October last year too, the security forces had conducted a search operation in these forests for about a month, but no terrorist could be killed. Due to being adjacent to the LoC and having big trees and stones in the forest, terrorists get a place to hide here easily. For the past few days, the security forces are continuously getting such inputs that terrorists may be hiding in these forests, after which a comprehensive operation was launched to search for these terrorists.
During this operation, the security forces also did speculative firing here many times, but no encounter could start with the terrorists. Due to this ongoing operation in these forests, traffic has also been stopped at many places on the Jammu Poonch Highway.
