In fact, before the Kanpur Test match, while addressing the media, he said that the Test to be played against South Africa in Mirpur will be his last red ball match. However, he has also said that if he is unable to play in Bangladesh due to the current circumstances, then the second Test to be played against India at Green Park here (Kanpur) will be the last Test match of his career. Shakib also said that he has played his last T20 International match in the World Cup. In such a situation, you will not see him in the T20 International series against India.
What is Shakib’s fear?

Shakib said in Kanpur, “If the Bangladesh Cricket Board gives me a safe passage to go abroad after playing the Test series against South Africa there, then I will play there, because the conditions there are different. If this does not happen then it will be difficult to go there. Being a Bangladeshi citizen, there is no problem in going there from India, but my problem is whether I will be able to get out after reaching there or not. From what I am hearing from my family and friends about the conditions in Bangladesh, I am a little skeptical.”
If BCB cannot guarantee that he will not face any problems, then Shakib Al Hasan can retire with the two-match Test series against Bangladesh, but if this does not happen then the last Test match of his career will be the Kanpur Test, which is to be played from September 27. If he does not get a proper answer from the Bangladesh Cricket Board, then Shakib Al Hasan can go to America, because his wife is an American citizen.
