A 22-year-old nursing student was found dead in her room in Ashok Nagar, East Delhi. Police suspect that the woman has committed suicide. The incident took place on August 18. Police received information through a PCR call that a girl was lying unconscious in a PG room and the room was locked from inside. Police and fire brigade teams immediately swung into action and opened the door. On entering inside, police found a cannula in the girl’s hand and she was not moving. Two drips were hanging from the fan.
After this, Centralized Accident and Trauma Services (CATS) was called to the spot. After checking, they declared the girl dead. Delhi Police said that the body of the deceased has been sent to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital for post-mortem. The girl’s family was informed about the incident. The police have seized the girl’s mobile and it will be thoroughly investigated. It is believed that this may reveal the reasons for the murder.
Doctor suffering from depression committed suicide
In another case, a doctor from Delhi AIIMS was found dead in his house in South Delhi. Police think it is a suicide. The deceased worked in the Neuro Surgery department of AIIMS and took his own life under horrific circumstances. According to Delhi Police, the doctor’s family has admitted that he was suffering from depression which could be due to marital dispute. It is believed that he took this step due to personal problems.
