Shock to Kejriwal ahead of Gujarat elections, AAP leader Indranil Rajguru joins Congress

Ahmedabad. Political parties have intensified their efforts as soon as the ground is set for the Gujarat Assembly elections. Meanwhile, the Aam Aadmi Party has suffered a setback in Gujarat. AAP leader Indranil Rajguru has left the AAP and returned to the Congress. Former MLA Indranil Rajguru has also contested from Rajkot against former Chief Minister Vijay Rupani. He was earlier in Congress, but annoyed he joined Arvind Kejriwal’s AAP.

Former MLA and National Joint Secretary AAP Indranil Rajguru has joined Congress in the presence of AICC Gujarat in-charge Dr Raghu Sharma and Gujarat leaders. Indranil was earlier in the Congress and had joined the Aam Aadmi Party sometime back. Indranil has been a Congress MLA from 2012 to 2017. In Indranil’s Congress, the homecoming is being considered a major setback for the Aam Aadmi Party.

Left the party as soon as Isudan Gadhvi was made the CM face in Gujarat
Arvind Kejriwal had on Friday declared Isudan Gadhvi as the chief ministerial face. Only after this Indranil said goodbye to the Aam Aadmi Party. AAP had made Indranil the National General Secretary.

Tri-cornered contest increased political agitation in Gujarat
With the announcement of the dates of the assembly elections in Gujarat, the political turmoil has intensified. This time three parties will be face to face in the state. The BJP has a government in Gujarat for 27 years and in the last election, the Congress gave a tough challenge to the BJP and reduced it to 99 seats. This time along with the Congress, the Aam Aadmi Party is also making a three-cornered contest between the BJP and the Congress.
