New Delhi. A doctor who treated Aftab Amin Poonawalla, accused of killing his live-in partner and dismembering her body, said he had come to him in May to get treated for a wound. The woman was murdered in the same month. Dr. Anil Kumar told that when Poonawala came to him for treatment, he was very aggressive and restless and when he asked him about the injury, he told that he got hurt while cutting the fruit.

Dr. Kumar said, ‘He came in the morning in May. My assistant told me that one person has come with injury. When I saw it, it was not a deep wound but a superficial wound. When I asked him how he got hurt, he told that he got hurt while cutting the fruit. I had no doubt, because it was a small wound caused by a knife. He said that when he first met 28-year-old Poonawalla during his treatment, he found him to be a very courageous and confident person.

Dr. Anil recognized the accused Aftab

Dr. Anil Kumar said, ‘Two days ago the police brought him to my hospital and asked if I had treated this person. I recognized him and said yes. He was very aggressive and restless when he came for treatment. He was talking looking into my eyes. He was very courageous and confident. He was speaking in English and told me that he is from Mumbai and has come to Delhi because of good opportunities in IT sector.

Made 35 pieces of my live-in girlfriend

The Delhi Police on Tuesday took Poonawalla to the Chhatarpur forest, where he allegedly threw pieces of Shraddha Walker’s body. It is worth mentioning that Poonawalla had allegedly strangled Walker to death in May and cut his body into 35 pieces, which he kept in a 300-litre refrigerator at his home in Mehrauli in south Delhi for nearly three weeks and later They were thrown at different places in the city over several days.
