Shubhaman Gill scored a century against BAN, broke many records, joined the unique club of Sachin-Kohli

Shubman Gill Test Century- In the Chennai Test against Bangladesh, Team India’s ‘Prince’ Shubman Gill scored his 5th Test century and played an unbeaten innings of 119 runs. On the basis of his innings, India has set a target of 515 runs for Bangladesh to win. Rishabh Pant played an important role along with Shubman Gill in taking Team India to this score, who played a brilliant innings of 109 runs. There was a time when India had lost three wickets at a score of 67, then Gill and Pant took charge of the team by sharing 167 runs for the fourth wicket. This is Shubman Gill’s back to back century in Test cricket. Earlier, he had scored a century in the last Test of the series against England. Gill hit 10 fours and 4 skyscraper sixes in his innings. With this, he also crossed the mark of 100 sixes in international cricket.

This is Shubman Gill’s third Test century in the year 2024. He has become the batsman to score the most centuries for India in the longest format of cricket this year. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma have scored 2-2 Test centuries this year.
