Slogans of ‘Naare Takbir’ and ‘Allah-hu-Akbar’ echoed again in AMU, students demonstrated

Aligarh. In Aligarh Muslim University i.e. AMU, Uttar Pradesh, after the prayers, the students protested while shouting slogans. The students raised slogans of Allah-hu-Akbar, Naare Takbeer, Tera Mera Rishta Kya, La Ilaha Ilallah. Students were protesting against the suspension of an AMU student Wahiduzzama after raising religious slogans at an NCC cadet on Republic Day. The demand of the students was that the suspended student should be reinstated. The students also gave a memorandum related to this. In the memorandum, the students also justified the BBC documentary. The students did not give any statement to the media during this period.

Let us tell you that on January 26, religious slogans were raised during the Republic Day program at Aligarh Muslim University. A student who used this was suspended by the university administration. After that, the police had registered an FIR in this matter. The video of the student shouting slogans of Allah-hu-Akbar, Takbeer in the dress of NCC cadet went viral. However, later many more videos went viral in which Hindu students were also raising religious slogans. In support of the same Muslim student, after prayers at Aligarh Muslim University, students took out a march from Jama Masjid to Baba Syed Gate.

The students said that religious sloganeering took place from both the sides. In the religious slogans raised, action has been taken only on one side. Whereas, no action was taken against other students. Either the suspension of the student on whom the action has been taken should also be revoked (cancelled), otherwise he will be bound to take some more action.

Memorandum in writing to reinstate the student

AMU Proctor Mohammad Wasim Ali told News18 Local that the boys have given us a written memorandum in which they have said that a boy Wahiduzzama has been suspended in connection with January 26. According to him this suspension is not right. has gone wrong. Also, he has demanded that it should be withdrawn as soon as possible.

Through this memorandum, the boys have demanded that on January 26, some boys had raised slogans. After the program was over, some actions were taken on its basis. Against the same action, the boys have said that this action was wrong. No case is made of them.
