Gopal was only 8 years old when his father was murdered. He waited for the right opportunity for 22 years and on Tuesday he got that chance.
In Gujarat, a person was crushed to death by a truck. The police have also arrested the 30-year-old accused for careless driving. But it was not just that. When the whole matter came to light, even the police themselves were stunned. Actually, this was not a road accident but a premeditated murder and the accused was waiting for 22 years to commit this crime. The reason was revenge. 30 year old Bhati waited 22 years to take revenge of his father’s murder and after getting the right opportunity, he killed his father’s murderer.
According to the report of Times of India, the case is from Ahmedabad where Gopal Bhati killed 40 year old Nakhat Singh Bhati in the same way in which he had killed his father. Gopal’s father Hari Singh Bhati was murdered in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan in 2002. The accused crushed him to death with a truck. Nakhat and his four brothers were found guilty in this case and were jailed for 7 years. At that time Gopal was only 8 years old. But Gopal had something else in mind for his father’s murderers. He wanted to kill Nakhat in the same way as his father was killed. For this he waited for the right opportunity for 22 years and on Tuesday he got that right opportunity.
On Tuesday afternoon, 50 year old Nakhat was going somewhere on a bicycle. Meanwhile, Gopal killed him by crushing him with a truck. Nakhat lived in Thaltej, Ahmedabad. He used to work as a security guard in a colony here. Gopal tried to run away after killing Nakhat, but the police present at a short distance from there caught Gopal on charges of wrong driving. Police said that during investigation it was revealed that Gopal had bought it on loan last week. It has been learned from Gopal’s mobile records that he had also done Reiki before killing Nakhat.
Police said that both Nakhat and Gopal are staunch enemies of the village of Jaisalmer. Nakhat lived in Badoda village while Gopal was a resident of Ajsar village. The enmity between the two villages is so deep that even the people living here do not talk to each other. Many times attempts were made to reach a compromise between the two villages but to no avail.
