The order for sterilization of bulls in Madhya Pradesh was canceled the very next day. Because there was so much ruckus on this order that the State Animal Husbandry Department had to withdraw. BJP MP Pragya Singh Thakur herself went down in protest against this order.

Talking to reporters, BJP MP Thakur said that sterilization of bulls was being done and I came to see his order. I immediately acted on it and informed Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Animal Husbandry Minister Prem Singh Patel and today that order was revoked.
He said, ‘I feel that somewhere this (order for sterilization of bulls) is some internal conspiracy and there is a need to be careful in this, because no one can and should never destroy indigenous cows. ‘
Thakur said that how this happened, it is a matter of investigation. I will urge the Chief Minister to inquire into this and get it done and since when, why and why is this happening? This indigenous cow, why so much atrocities against it? Never repeat such orders.
Meanwhile, the state animal husbandry department on Wednesday took to its official Twitter handle and shared the order to stop the sterilization drive of bulls. In an order issued by RK Mehia, the Director of Animal Husbandry Department, all the Deputy Directors of the department have been told that the campaign for sterilization of bulls, which started from October 4, has been stopped immediately.
