Vikas Gupta is a resident of Kokan Pilkicha village of Jaunpur district. As soon as the result was known, all the well wishers reached his ancestral home and congratulated him. Talking to news18 over the phone, Vikas’s father said that he would serve the country by becoming a doctor. The father told that the son is now in Meerut, his internship has started in the same college.

Vikas Gupta’s father Shiv Kumar runs a medical store in front of the government hospital for years. He told that on the basis of this he is taking care of the family and giving them education. He told that Vikas was very smart in reading and writing since childhood. After Intermediate, he went to Kota Rajasthan to prepare for NEET. He passed the NEET exam in 2018 and enrolled in the MBBS course at Chaudhary Charan Singh University.
