According to police sources, Sandeep Singh confessed during the interrogation of Punjab Police and Central agencies that he has no remorse for his actions.
According to sources, Sandeep told that he wanted to kill Sudhir Suri earlier also. Meanwhile, he came to know that Sudhir Suri is sitting on a dharna near his shop. After that he immediately reached there and found the police present there. However, even this did not cool down his anger and he shot as soon as he got the chance.
Connection with pro-Khalistan Amritpal
At the same time, the name of Khalistan support Amritpal Singh is also coming out in this case. However, according to police sources, Sandeep has denied this during interrogation. According to sources, Sandeep told during interrogation that he had met Amritpal, but he had no relation with Amritpal Singh regarding the murder of Sudhir Suri.

Sudhir Suri was protesting against the management of Gopal Mandir on Majitha Road, one of the city’s busiest areas, over alleged sacrilege of some Hindu deities in Amritsar. Then 31-year-old Sandeep Singh allegedly shot and killed Suri in broad daylight. The court has sent him to 7 days police custody on Saturday.
